DCUC BAF Darkseid problem and fix

If you havent seen his pics yet you can check him out on the DC Haul thread.

As excited as i am i was disturbed when i couldn't fit the lower torso into the upper torso.
The upper torso joint was not long enough to snap into the lower joint.
So after inspecting for 20mins. I took the upper torso apart and discovered the 2 pegs on the washer part were too long which created too much of a gap between joints.

So i just used an xacto knife and trimmed these too lil pegs. glued the them back on.
this gave me the space i needed to snap the parts together.

Im happy to say Darkseid made it through his surgery and is actively still trying to rule the universe.

Nice dude. I had heard that boiling-and-popping works too, but your way solves the problem, rather than forcing a way past it. Is the torso held together with screws then? Easy to take apart? Mine's still in package, so I can't see it.

the pegs were actually glued in. i took the risk and slowly tore it off. i figure i could always glue it back.

Hopefully this is a rare case for this fig.

Just put my Darkside together yesterday and he went together like butter. No prolems at all. I think I'm one of the lucky ones cause there seem to helots of problems with the torso.

oh granny goodness! im glad to hear that. Ya my buddy had problems popping in his head. Kept popping bak out. But he eventually got it to stick.
Of all the BAF's to have problems it had to be Darkseid. I've never heard of any of the other DC BAF's having problems.
