Here are the links for the re-release of She-Ra and Zodac under the Cartoon Collection:

She-Ra:

Zodac:

Hopefully Mattel does a Filmation She-Ra later this year.

Re: Masters of the Universe Origins discussion

I haven't seen them on Amazon.ca, Walmart.ca or Toysrus.ca. Canada is an afterthought when it comes to MOTU these days. It's a shame. I did pick up a cartoon Skeletor at a Walmart in Detroit a couple weeks back. They also had Man at Arms and Beast-Man but I passed on those two. Decided I wasn't going to collect the cartoon figures because I just don't have the display space and I knew they would be a pain in the ass to find for a decent price in Canada. Had to pick up Skeletor though, and I'd pick up He-Man if I ever find him. They still had a number of the Moss Man figures as well and at a discounted price. Though didn't have the new Walmart exclusive figures.

Yeah it seems like Canada has been mostly forgotten in the last couple of years. We might get the odd item here or there, but otherwise nothing (unless you go through online retailers like our site sponsors).

It's a shame because the line has been one of the best, in my opinion, over the past 5 years. I have all but abandoned the line except for the Mattel Creations releases because outside of cost they are easy enough to obtain. Also they are doing a good job of working on the remaining originals still not released.

Yeah, same here. I wish I would've gotten some of the earlier Creations exclusives like Grizzlor and Frog Monger but I balked at the price. Paying $40-50 for a MOTU figure seemed absurd. It still does but if it's the only way to get the last Origins figures, I guess I have to bite the bullet. Got Rokkon and Sy-Clone. Not crazy about Rokkon but Sy-Clone is a must have. As Two-Bad will be as well. I guess Extendar will be going up for order later this month.

I have been lucky enough to snag pretty much all the MC exclusives to date. Which is pretty lucky considering the after market price on some of them now.

Outside of the secondary market, I think the only hope is that maybe Mattel decides to throw some of the exclusive releases into a cartoon wave, but maybe with slight differences. That way the exclusivity of the MC releases remains, but people can still get the figures in Origins form much like they have done with Grizzlor. Especially since they seem to be stretching the cartoon line out by splitting each wave 2/2 (Cartoon/Origins re-release).

I have a theory that maybe the only reason that Amazon Canada got Teela and Man-at-Arms is simply because they aren't strong sellers and potential pegwarmers in the US, so Mattel posted them up here to get rid of some stock.

He-Man and Skeletor seem like obvious strong sellers, I'm a bit surprised if Beast-Man was a strong seller although that's my own bias, as I don't like that he's so orange / desaturated orange. I'd have preferred a slightly more reddish and more saturated orange, so I'm a bit lukewarm towards that figure, though I do need a Beast Man of some kind to fill out my MotU cast.
