GET OFF MY FACE MOTHERF@#$ER!!! Bugaboos AB Red Rock Canyon NV El Potrero Chico NL ElCanadian Rockies Sunrise in Toronto Joshua Tree

When I arrived in Toronto I had long hair and a beard, no friends, hated the big City with its pollution, and was mostly bouldering all the time (due to lack of friends).

Now I’am leaving Toronto for Vancouver (via a long cut), and I realize that even though I still hate the big City with its pollution - I've changed. I don't have my "Fabio" hair anymore, and the beard is gone, I still boulder, but now it's by choice and not necessity, and I made lots of friends that I’ll be leaving behind.

This page is dedicated to all the people that I met in Toronto, but especially to the people that became my friends, and helped me (in one way or the other) to make my dream a reality.

Not everyone's picture or the personal thanks that I owe and feel, will fit on this page. However, I say "thank you" to all the people that I have worked with, climbed with, trained with and known. I want to thank all the staff at Mountain Equipment Co-op, especially Team Z, Sarah-Jane, Bob Matheson and Sean McSweeney, and all of the Senior Staff Team;I want to say "Thanks" to the staff of Rock Oasis, Karen and Sam; I have a special "thank you" to Norton Mansfield.

P.S. feel free to join us on any part of the trip!!!

Chris-Anne

To my loving wife - who couldn't come on this trip even though she wanted to - I'm compelled to say thanks for all the things that she has done and is going to do for me. Chris-Anne was the one who suggested to me that maybe I should - instead of finishing university - go to where my passion is - climbing. She is the only reason this trip is even remotely possible. Thank you Chris-Anne for helping me realize and live my dream. I'll see you in B.C.

Cort

Cort - my climbing mentor and one of my close friends. Ever since I met him he has pushed me to climb harder and to get on steeper stuff. He is the one who helped me to get a cool head on lead and climb my first 5.13. Cort also helped me to realize the advantages to guiding and taught me how to guide. By the way, if you're ever in Toronto and need a guide he is the Guide to get. You can get more information at climbitanyway.com

Richard

If I name Cort as my mentor in climbing, Richard is my computer advisor. He is the graphic artist and designer of this website. Richard is on par with Cort in helping me with my climbing. Consultant with the U of T, Richard still cranks hard and has wicked crimp strength. If we're lucky we'll see Richard in Mexico or Red Rocks!

Charles

Charles - Massage therapist and model. Charles is not just a pretty face but also a wicked climbing partner. Although he now climbs on the red sandstone of the Blue Mountains in Australia - he remains one of my best friends.

Massimo

A banker by profession, Massimo only started climbing a year or two ago, but he is already climbing 5.11 and 5.12. This boy is a "natural" climber. Thanks to Massimo for all the help he provided and thanks for being a great friend.

Rami

The most recent addition to "the climbing guys" A naturopath by profession Rami applies his training to improving the mental and physical condition of everyone with whom he climbs.
